Early bird application fee deadline fast approaching

FOR students thinking of studying at uni next year, the early bird fee deadline is fast approaching. Early bird applications through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) close at 11.59pm Monday 30 September.

After that the processing charge increases so even if you’re unsure about your plans applying now keeps your options open and your costs down.

If you need another good reason to apply many courses, including popular medical courses, have early closing dates.

Once you've submitted your application you can change your preferences as many times as you like – for free!

So far more than 42,000 Year 12 students have applied through UAC to study in 2025. It takes 15 minutes to apply and then, with your application submitted, you can focus on your end-of-year studies.
