UAC and CSU get social
CHARLES Sturt University (CSU) has collaborated with one of Australia's top 50 most innovative companies in 2018, the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC), to offer a new-look application system that allows students to register using their Facebook, Google or LinkedIn accounts.
This seamless interface, developed by UAC, makes it much easier for students applying to CSU, as they don’t have to create and remember multiple logins. The application is mobile-friendly, easy to use and only takes around 15 minutes.
As one of Australia’s premier regional universities with multiple campuses, CSU was looking to not only improve the applicant experience but also create efficiencies in processing using the branded application and assessment service offered by UAC.
Kim Broadly, Deputy Director, Access and Compliance at CSU said, ‘The technical components of CSUs connect portal are significant. UAC was more than keen to develop a range of these for CSU, allowing greater flexibility in creating and managing logins, web analytics, lead data collection, and offer template design’.
UAC was named Winner of Best Process Innovation Award and ranked 41st in the Australian Financial Review 2018 Most Innovative Companies list.
Carmel O'Regan, Executive Director of Student Administration at CSU says, ‘UAC went over and above to ensure all our needs were met in time and within budget. The close working relationship fostered during the project (and service follow-up beyond) was first-rate, which has convinced CSU that UAC is the provider of choice when it comes to admissions.’
Applications for CSU on-campus courses are open.
